WHat all do you do to decorate? When does your actual tree go up? Who decorates....just you or the entire family as an activity? Thank you!

It's a tradition to decorate the tree and the house on the day we celebrate Christmas Eve.. 24 December. It's a chore for the entire family, my mod, my dad me and my brother. The tree is always a real one, never had a fake tree, love the smell of the tree and the goodies my mother makes. OH grrrrrrr you for doing this to us.
I want the holidays to come. the presents, the carols, the family together no matter what,... i love Christmas
PS: and i love Santa and his gifts :D

I usually start decorating during the last week of November (tree usually goes up the last weekend of November). I pretty much decorate the entire house. I do all the decorating..I have a 2 1/2 year old, so he's still too young to help with a lot of it (the breakables anyway).

(I'm in Canada in case you are wondering why I would be decorating during the Thanksgiving weekend..we celebrate Thanksgiving in October).

Christmas decorations go up AFTER Thanksgiving. Christmas decorations seem to be everywhere right now, but it's just too early! It's no fun if you end up getting sick of it. I don't want to get sick of it! As for what we decorate, my family puts up the tree in early December, and we all decorate it together. It's tradition!

Me and most of the family start decorating the day after Thanksgiving! And it lasts all throughout the month! It gets done that weekend but the tree comes later for whenever we have time to go get one. One that's fresh. Even though there are more than one fake ones all throughout the house! It looks like Santa's village when we're done! Have a Merry Christmas everyone and God bless!!!

My family & I usually start decorating for Christmas around the first week of December. Our tree is usually up by the second Saturday Of December, and goes down by the first Saturday of January. We make it a family thing, because when I was younger, my dad and (older) sister would never let me decorate the tree, for fear of breaking things. So, I let my 6 and 7 year olds' do it, for the memories. I want my girls' to have good memories, not bad!

It's always been a tadition in my family to begin decorating after Thanksgiving, but we don't do it all at once. First our wreath and bells go on the front door, then a few days later we put up the lights in the windows. We don't put up the tree untill around the middle of December, but we leave it up until New Year's Day.

We start decorating around Thanksgiving, though this year we aren't going to do much.

We used to make it a whole family activity, but this year we have a very active 14-month old with an oral fixation. We're putting up a tree by our door and calling it good. There will be other years when we go crazy .
