First - check the ingredient list before purchasing ANY lotion. The ones that contain MINERAL OIL are not good for your skin. It's known to cause cancer as well as CLOG your pores.
There are several choices that are relatively cheap (i'm a cheapo), that do not have mineral oil. Palmer's cocoa butter formula. Get the oil and before you dry off from your shower - rub some in. When you dry off - PAT dry, not rub. They lotion is also good, but I use the oil. Also, the Quench line is very, very good.
AVON - also makes a wonderful product. Moisture therapy line is good stuff. Also, the lotions from the Mark. line are great - they smell awesome and they are non-greasy.

Hi. Need a good cheap solution? I am the queen of poor so here it is: at night before you go to bed or after a shower if you will use a damp cloth and gently rub Vasaline on your body you will have much better skin in the winter months. It can reach your back too which is important. Just rinse out with hot water after using. Not anything heavy, just a nourishing touch of a healing and protective barrier against the cold and dry skin.

Any unscented lotion. If you're like me, the perfume in most lotions is so painful. Eucerin and Nivea are good. Aveeno actually hurt my skin when it was supposed to be "calming". Also, a little more pricey but still my favorite is Burt's Bees Milk & Honey or Baby Bee Buttermilk all natural lotions. You can get trial sizes at Walgreen's and Target.

I'm not sure about the price, but Eucerin brand creams are specifically made for dry, sensitive skin. I use it and it works very well for me.

Check out the "Plus Intensive Repair" lotions and creams under Products, then Hand and Body Care. One extra tip to combat dry skin: stay hydrated! Especially in cold weather, since we don't sweat as much we drink less water. Hope this helps!

Several lotions would be okay. There's lubriderm (that's my favorite) or St. Ives. However if you really want quality lotion you're going to need to pay for it. There's one lotion (I think they use it in hospitals) called Eucrien (sp?). It's really good.
Also try this to help with the dry skin:
Don't take hot showers. Make sure the water is tepid or lukewarm. This will cut down on your skin drying out.

Any less expensive lotion for dry skin will do fine.
Ponds , Vaseline extensive care, are real good moisturizers.you can also use plain Vaseline . if you apply it a little at a time because it can get greasy if used too much.but it works real well

The Body Shop body butter! Olive and cacao is the best! Also bergamot body lotion and lavender body lotion of Body Shop is perfect. I love the white musk body lotion too, also from The Body Shop.
