Mainly because of the media, and because Al-Qaeda really only consists of Muslims and Arabs - and they are the most known and feared terrorist group in the western world.

Because you're a blinded close minded imbecile. Many terrorist organisations are Christian (ETA, the IRA, 'pro life' bombers, animal rights terrorists) some are different religions (the Tamil Tigers, Irgun) - not all terrorists are muslims, and CERTAINLY not all Muslims are terrorists. Stop believing the media, think for yourself.

Because that's what the (mostly Western & oppessive Arab) governments & media make them look like - desert dwelling Arabs. Back in the 70's and 80's it was Asians in jungles in the movies or Asiatic Commies of various incarnartions.

Hmmmmmm probably 90%+ of the terrorists in the world are muslim or arab. That might be just a little reason.
