Get a jar.
Place three cups of milk in it.
Use one cup of milk at each meal/snack
If the milk is gone by the end of the day, your child has had enough milk.

Any more and s/he won't be hungry for the true meals. If you give less, s/he won't be getting the nutrients.

It's not the milk, per se, but the calcium that is needed. I don't know if you're asking this b/c your child doesn't want to drink milk or not, but, the recommendation is 2-3 servings (16-24 oz) whole milk OR the eqivalent in calcium (minimum of 600mg/day). Products like cheese, yogurt, calcium added OJ, calcium added soy milk/soy products, tofu, and some cereals will contribute to this tota, so, if your daughter doesn't like milk or you just want to add variety, you can try some of the above

If she nonetheless does not tolerate soy then you definately can attempt fortified rice milk, yet there are not just about adequate food and calcium in it. you will incredibly ought to up the the remainder of her dairy to get her each and every thing she desires. that's ordinary that she tolerates cheese and yogurt. you're able to ought to easily suck it up and take her into the militia medical doctors. I comprehend your hesitation nevertheless, they are incredibly enormous pains in the butt!

NONE!
Would you feed your child any other kind of poison?
Why then would you feed it something that attacks it's immune system, causes difficulty breathing and is one of the causes of several cancers?

"Doctors say cow's milk can lead to iron deficiency anemia, allergies, diarrhea, heart disease, colic, cramps, gastrointestinal bleeding, sinusitis, skin rashes, acne, increased frequency of colds and flu, arthritis, diabetes, ear infections, osteoporosis, asthma, autoimmune diseases, and more, possibly even lung cancer, multiple sclerosis and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma"

The reason that so few people know this is aptly explained below.

"Our "nutritional education" in school (funded in part by the dairy industry) taught us that dairy products are one of the four basic food groups we all need for proper nutrition. And with more than 60 of the most powerful Congressional leaders in Washington receiving campaign contributions from the National Dairy Council, we can be assured that dairy products are well-entrenched as a major staple of our government-sponsored school lunch programs."

However many noteable and respected doctors and scienctists are beginning to spread the unpopular truth.

My little girl is 13 months and gets by on two 8oz. bottles of milk plus one 4oz. bottle of juice a day. Then again, she naps for three hours in the afternoon and goes down at 7:00p.m. I guess it all depends on your baby and his/her appetite.
