Funny you should ask..
My husband and I and two of my good friends both moved here with the idea of changing our lives. And we have, and its been good. You have to be prepared for living in a tourist town, the traffic, etc, but it has been fun. You will have to network to get anywhere in this town, and this isn't the town to burn bridges because you just never know...but there is an energy here that you can do anything you set your mind to. Vegas's history as a dusty valley turned into an international destination sopt speaks volumes about what can be achieved here. And just in case you'll miss nature, you are surrounded by tons of natural parks. Email me if you want more info.

I guess it depends on what you want to do with your life, but Vegas seems like a better place to ruin a life than it is to start a new one. One good thing, Vegas is constantly growing and expanding so opportunities are all over the place.

It fairly relies upon on what section you come back to a call to stay in, in Vegas. I have family individuals that lives proper through it and that's a attractive section. I were there many cases. in case you may take care of the nice and cozy temperature (which being from Australia, i'm constructive you may) you also state you want quickly+interesting, nicely Vegas is the position for then you definitely ;) sure it will be an impressive section to stay. I also head that taxes are more cost-effective obtainable to boot?

If you are easily addicted, no. Vegas will mess you up if you gamble or drink much.
I have known women to gamble away the rent and grocery money.
Men too of course.
Houses are very expensive too.

If the nature of the city is not going to hurt your new path in life, then why not? But if the city's characteristics (gambling, alcohol, and adult entertainment) would make for a bad enviroment for you then it wouldn't be a good place to go.

No way...been there...desolate, most people have gravel yards and not grass...no trees to speak of...the north side is awful... nude pictures on displays on top of the taxis for little kids to see. I can't really think of a town I would like less to live in except New Orleans.

I hear the suburbs of Vegas are amazing! If I were you, I'd check into it now because the price of houses is only going to go up there. I would love to relocate there with my wife someday... we'll see.

My uncle moved there in 2000, and he said it takes a long time to get ahead out there. He is just now getting ahead, mainly because of the booming real estate.

I think it is a great idea. There is a lot to do there and it is fun, but if you are looking fore something a little safer take a look at Reno. It is beautiful there. I love it!
