Not to dry himself. As we all know, ducks shake the water of their feathers. He puts the towel on to keep warm. I know when I get out of the shower, I feel very cold, so I wrap the towel round me. Even when I'm not cold I still do the same, even though there's no-one there to ogle my bits and pieces. Donald is a domesticated duck and it's just the way he's been brought up.

Why, when Bugs Bunny is wearing a dress and the skirt blows upwards revealing what is underneath, does he put his hands in front of his crotch, but doesn't seem to mind that he's naked most of the time?
