we have cricket matches every sunday outside of garfield high school, so i was wondering that if i join the schools team, but i didn't play baseball for almost a year?

Why not....it's a great way to keep healthy and make new friends, plus it'll keep you outdoors when so many kids are sitting in front of TVs and computers these days.

NoOOOO how could you HOW COULD YOU play baseball and forget about cricket!!!! Cricket ALL THE WAY!!! base ball Boooooooooooo plus haven't you seen that southpark episode dude you'll be bored to death playing that boring game! i say you play crciket or some thing with your native country friends!

Try setting a practice session with someone. Your goal is 10 shots in 10 tries. Do this many times with the person blocking you until you get good again. When you are ready, try to get in the team.

Never hurts to try out. Even if you don't make the team, then at least you'll learn an important lesson in humility and resilience which you can apply in next year's tryout.
