Tell the truth. You may like to do a real research into the dumb blonde phenomena. How did it start?Maybe you can bring the examples of Hollywood created myths --dumb blondes: like Marilin Monroe, Judy Holliday, and so on. It is a less known fact these blond ladies had I.Q higher then many genius men. I like the question--How high is the IQ of a stupid blonde?

Madonna has a very high I.Q. I think I read once that it is 145 or somewhere in that neighborhood -which makes her genius material. So why did the material girl - for most of her career-choose to go blonde and market her sexuality very cleverly...but market her sexuality as a blonde? I would start there and talk about how inaccurate a stereotype can be. I mean what is a stereotype other than trying to put someone in a box quickly? Why is there something in all of us that say's "you can't have everything"....with the stupid blonde being a prime example. Blondes are viewed as sexy (whether they are or not) and therefore we don't want to credit them with having any smarts on top of it...because it just doesn't seem fair?

In the 1930s, Hollywood gave us the blonde Goddesses, all looks, yet far from all brains. Jean Harlow, Betty Grable, Carole Lombard, were the first in a long list of overnight blondes who captured the eyes of the movie going public.

It sounds like your research paper itself is going to be a blond joke: What did the blond write her research paper about? That could be your thesis statement.

considering the fact that there are very few true blonds, and that at least 80% of so called blonds are at the root of it brunette. I would find something more interesting maybe do a paper on all stereotyping.
