HI to everyone.I am from Greece and I am visiting a Friend in Bristol the last week of November. On my way to Bristol I will stop for 3 days in London. That will be my first time in London.
So I whould like to know which are the things I shoulded miss.I am Planning on Visiting the Tate modern, the national gallery, the national history museum ,the British museum(for the marbels) and the London eye.The rest of my time I am thinging of walking through the city from Hyde Park to Tower Bridge(Albert hall and memorial,Bakinham palace,Soho, big ben,Oxford street,st Paul church, london tower, city hall).
I would like to ask you if all of these worth speding time on(I have only 3 days) and if you suggest something else?I would also like you to suggest any nice Pubs in the city centre.
I have allready checked any website and cityguides for London and I would like the opinion of people who live the city everyday(they know better).
Thank you in advance.I am looking forward for your answers.

All places you have picked are amazing, but quite a lot to do in 3 days! Definitely go to the British Museum and be ready to cry... Tate Modern is exquisite although there is no amazing exhibition at the moment, but one gets a great view of St Paul's. National Gallery is an all time classic, make the best of your visit there and if u r a bookworm, go to the close by second-hand bookshops on Charing Cross Road.. If you keep walking you 'll see both Leicester square, walk through Chinatown and reach Soho -it is a 30 min walk in slow pace, but one of the most interesting parts of the city. If you feel like having a good cappuccino -unfortunately good coffee is rare in london- go to Caffe Amatto in Soho, owned by Italians..National history museum I haven't been to (although I am here more than a year now). Tower of London is a must and Tower Bridge too. Walking London is the best idea.. Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Dali Universe and the Millenium Eye are all close and my very favorite walk in the town.. If you have time go to Notting Hill (i porta apo tin tainia den yparxei min psaxeis..)
To get the best out of your visit, don't rush things too much and wish u come back once more! Have a pint at the Swan, or any old pub, they all are gorgeous.. Min xexaseis omprella kai
Kala na peraseis!

Enjoy yourself in london, it's an awesome place, my suggestion would be just take time out and walk the length of the south bank from London Bridge to Charing cross. There are loads of buskers, a market and a few cafes, to watch the world go by. You could also go out to Greenwich and see the Royal Observator and Palace out there, there's also loads of good restaurants and bars in the area, have a look round Soho and Covent Garden as well,
Oxford street, you shouldn't bother with, it's just ful of the same shops found everywhere else in the world, most Londoners try and avoid it. If you are there over a weekend then Camden Market is a must, it's a brilliant place with some excellent music, bars, strange stuff to buy and strange people. It's also likely that you may spot a few celebrities up there, some indie bands and Simon Callow are regulars round the area.
Finally try and take in a theatre show, you can get cheap tickets from the half price booth in the middle of Leicester Square.
Enjoy your trip.

You should definitely hit up Tate Modern and Tate Britain both near River Thames, which is gorgeous at night. In terms of museums, my favorite was the National Portrait Gallery, which is right near the National Gallery. I believe you have to pay for that one, however.
SoHo is a fantastic area to hang out either at night or during the day. There are also lot's of great little pubs in SoHo. Could be a little divey but for the most part pretty nice.
Great pub called The Waterway near Paddington/Maida Vale area. Right near Little Venice and the canals.

I would recommend one of the Open Top Bus Tours that allow you to hop on/off all day. Do the whole circuit once and note the things that look like something you would want to come back and see more of. Then do the circuit again to hop on/off. I love Tower Bridge, it is so beautiful but I'm not sure what you would actually Do there but the actual grounds of the beheadings/ jewels nearby is definitely worth some time. -- You could do one of the pub crawls/tours at night as well. I can't think of names off hand but we did one where they took you to all the supposed sites of Jack the Ripper incidents, starting outside the Tower and ending at a local pub. If you are going alone, this would be a good way to meet some others.

You will find a number of interesting pubs in and around Borough High Street (not far from the Globe Theatre) of these the most important historically is the George. It is a coaching inn and is the only one of its kind surviving.
