Lad i work with says that the rumour around Liverpool is that he's having relationship drama's with his missus. Her away form has been better than the reds apparently, anyone else heard similar?

because he is playing out of position, and because his team are not playing well.

During the game yesterdya, it was noticeable after the third goal (the one scored by Gallas) that he was arguing with Riise, over marking. Riise should have picked up the man, but blamed Gerrard - this is symptomatic of liverpool at the moment, who dont seem to be able to get along. PErsonally, I think that the huge change in players from each game to the next is more than partly to blame for this.

But I think that Gerrard sees himself as the most important player for Liverpool, and therefore does not understand why he is never played in teh position which he plays in best, i.e. centre midfield - and I think he has every right to be angry. When he was switched to the centre yesterday, liverpool played their 'best' (And it was hardly great then in any case).

Gerrard is a great player, and form is temporary - he will play superb football again, and probably over the weeks to come. Better if he played for Arsenal tho ;)

gerrard is only going through a dip in form. you cant expect any player to play at the level he played at last year for ever. at the end of the day he played wide right last season and he was excellent. nobody complained then. the problem with most fans is they beleve everything the read in the sun. as for the guy who tried to blame riise for galla's goal. he was left with 2 men to mark after gerrard took his eye off the man he was ment to be marking

Gerrard is one of the BEST player in the p/ship. i think he is very uncomfortable playing in this rotational STUPIDITY. it makes a player loose focus and being told every game to change postion is like a person doing an office job...one day customer service one day computer entry etc... i feel sorry gerrard is in this position i wish he can move to arsenal and do do Wenger proud!

Not just Gerrard but the whole team. There away record this season is terrible.

He's a great player in a current mediocre Liverpool. Lacklustre performances by the rest of his team mates do nothing for Stevie to lift his performance. Won't be surprise if he contemplates greener pastures soon. Rafa's all at sea.

There has been talk that he is not getting along with benetiz as well. I think its clear since he has been forced to play on the wing even though everyone and his mother knows that he plays best in the middle. The whole team has not been getting it done though.

well im not a pool supporter but id say its down to a few reasons firstly his teams poor performances are distracting along with being shifted from the center out to the right and bach has to be un setteling... he is a good player and will come right or else maybe move on who knows
