I had heartburn throughout my entire pregnancy...I never had heartburn before. The second I had my daughter it stopped. I ate Tums like candy...the ones that helped best were the Smoothie ones...better tasting and they hit the hot spots faster. Perfectly normal though, if it's really bothering you and you want something stronger ask your OB I'm not sure which one it is you can take I think it's something along the lines of Zantac though....check with your doctor before taking anything like that first. Congrats and best wishes!

There is a Mexican mineral water called Topo Chico (Lemonade); I drank it constantly while I was pregnant with both my kids. It was such a relief on my heartburn and nausea that I drink it now when I'm not pregnant and my stomach starts to mess up. It's always on the fridge nice and cold ready to go.

VERY common. The only time I ever had heartburn was when I was pregnant and it started very early. Ask your Dr. what he/she recommends for you to take.

Hormones can do all sorts of things. Discuss it with your doctor and stock up on tums.
