Depends on what level they are on! If they just dream about them all day, knows everything about them, they are infatuated. If the send them letters, gifts and cards on holidays and other important days, or feel like they will just die if they never get that person, then i would have to say obsessed. If they hang outside of every spot that person goes to I would have to say stalker.
Liking someone never hurt anything, it is how you handle that affection that makes the difference.
