i happen to have both and i love them both. with the psp you can get little discs called umd's to watch feature films and to play video games. the psp is compatible with ps2's, so you can share with friends. you can put photos on the psp, download videos, (not long ones), games and songs (about 200). you'll have to have more more than one memory stick duo if you want many videos. also you can go on the internet anywhere there is wireless internet service.
the ipod holds 1000's of songs depending which type of ipod you get. the songs, videos, and games from itunes won't play on the psp. (i tried)! on the ipod you can put artwork and lyrics with the songs, which you can't do on a psp. the ipod also holds many more photos than the psp. last but not least, you can enable the ipod to be used as a disc drive for storing documents.
so you need to weigh it out carefully and decide what you want your particular device to do. can't decide? get both! i enjoy and love my ipod video and my psp.

Well lots of my friends have PSP's and thats a good question. Basically the only thing the iPod Video dosent have that a PSP does is web access. But on the downside, PSP's cant play music videos, and you have t buy the cartriges and keep track of em and everything. PLus the iPod video holds up to 20,000 songs and 10 hours of video, whilst the PSP can only hold up to 240 songs and 1/3rd of a movie lol. I have an iPod video 30gb

i might say PSP considering many ipods holiday after the primary 12 months or so and are a affliction within the *** to move and change and whatnot. additionally, on PSP you'll play video games. a problem is that the ipod is smaller and less complicated to convey round for your pocket. finally, i would pass with a PSP, thuogh.

yes psp can play music videos.
but ipods are betters quality.

A ipod is better bet if you get both that will be great too.
