"Where Have You Been?" written by John Veznor and performed by Kathy Mattea. I think it is just the way her voice sounds. Plus its just one of those true love story songs that ends in a nursing home. Sort of like an audio version of the movie "The Notebook."

Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carslile- it was on the radio maybe 5 years back and it brings me to tears about halfway through everytime- its about a father watching his daughter grow up until he gives her away at her wedding.

At the moment the song that makes me cry is The Killers Mr Bightside. The bit about 'it started it out with a kiss how did it end up like this' was a joke between my ex & I. So now when I hear it it makes me sad :(

Probably "How Can I Tell You (That I Love You)", by Cat Stevens.

I always really liked this song, but it was used as the music to an advert for the Caner Research Charity in the UK a few years ago.

Since then, it always make me remember loved ones who have died, and question whether or not I actually told them what they meant to me before they died.
