Christmas weather almanac?

What does this years almanac say about snow for Christmas and Christmas week for Boston? I have relatives traveling. And does it say anything about any big storms this year?

The Old Farmer's Almanac says your mid-December will be snowier than usual, and Christmas will be one of this winter's coldest periods. Check out their long-range forecast here:
