Dinosaur National Monument straddles the border between Utah and Colorado. The monument is quite large, the nearest towns being Dinosaur, CO, and Jensen, UT. Both towns are located on US highway 40, and the monument itself is between 5 and 40 miles north of that highway.

The easiest place to view bones is the Dinosaur Quarry, which is 5 miles north of Jensen, UT.
