Look at trigger happy tv, its just not funny in america, the office is a right cock up, nobody watches their version here, they are doing it aswell for extras, i can understand we have better comedy and they want some but they just kill it, totaly.

It's not that the U.S kills the shows it's just that their humour is different to the U.K so the jokes understood are different.
Have you ever seen a so called U.S comedy called "Seinfeld" ? It's one of the favourite, most popular comedies over there but didn't even raise a grin in the U.K

Because Americans have no imagination.
The same is true with music. The only truly great artists that America produced were Elvis, Hendrix, and Dylan. Britain alone beats the tobacco juice out of America, and the world at large does the same.

I am sure the people who came up with the ideas are rewarded. I see Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant in the credits for the US version of The Office.

Let's face it. We don't totally GET your humor just as you don't totally GET ours. We don't particularly think your humor is funny either! Oh, and we don't even get your version of the Office here at least not main stream. BUT I agree on "our" Office. It sucks! Also, I am sure your re-makes of US stuff isn't appreciated by us either. You should think of it as flattery. You get a good idea and we steal it. Call it pay backl for the whole Redcoat era!
A PS 16 hours after the fact. Ricky Gervais developed and had creative control over the US "Office". So, whose fault is it the show sucks?!

I think it is best to remember Winston Churchill's words:
Americans and Englishmen are two people divided by a common language.
Remember, Sir Winston was half American & half English.

Because you touch yourself at night.
Since you find it to be a necessity to badmouth Americans let me remind you that our country kicked your country's *** 200 years ago and it can do the same now. =D

Lol I have tried watching your version of the office and the accent alone makes my ears burn. Besides the odd words you use. Jeez we like our versions just fine thanks.
