My trainer says she would like to get me into a competition by january, and I don't know if I'm ready for that. I don't think I'm that god either, I've gotten to a certain point, and now I'm afraid to go beyond that point, what should I do?

there are different levels in ice skating, you can compete at the level you just passed. even though you think you are not that good, the point of the competition is to see how you stand amongst the others. you should really think about it.
dont be afraid to go beyond that point, because nothing is stopping you. just gather your courage and take another step foward.
(i'm thinking of competiting in january also)

hey im a hockey player but its almost the same...sorta. but i would say go for it. there is nothing stoping you and if you do compete then you will learn even more and get even better. so go for it. what could it hurt?
