I'm Canadian, but come on - the NFL is a thousand times better, and their worst team would destroy the winner of Canada's Grey Cup. Like other people have said, the CFL is mostly full of guys who are unable to make NFL rosters. There are some good players who have switched - Moon, Theisman, and a few others - but not many. In general, the difference between the two is like that between a major league baseball team and their AAA farm club.
As for my preference, I like the NFL. The CFL field is too long and wide, I don't like the three-down system, and I can't stand allowing multiple players in motion.
And that single point rule is so lame....I've thought since I was a kid that they would change it, but they just keep it there.

Talk about a skewed question! You don’t really want an answer, you just want to pretend you know you what you’re talking about while bashing the CFL. Here’s the answer to your question: I think the CFL would win playing by CFL rules, and the NFL would win playing NFL rules. There is so much difference in the games that your simple mix and match just shows how little you know about the CFL. The NFL has bigger budgets and more hype, and I guess if you can't see past that and appreciate the game, then you'll pick the NFL every time. I've seen both many games from both leagues many times, but I'd bet many of the CFL bashers answering your "question" have never really given it a serious look.

The best of the CFL against an average NFL team. NFL team would win hands down, no contest. Either using NFL or CFL rules.

The NFL would kill The CFL (canadian fumblers league). The score would probably be somewhere around 136 to 0.

Not even close. Football is better in the USA because of competitiveness. Atleast. Plus, a multitude of people who want and prepare from youth to play in the NFL. And, as a question to you, where are you from? If you were in North America, you'd know the answer easily.
