Yes, the vast majority of monkeys do get mad when you throw them fake bananas. Imagine a monkey was standing at the grill and threw you a fake steak. Would you get mad?

That is a very good question. Dogs and cats don't recognize food by sight. It's mostly by smell. Are monkeys fooled by plastic bananas?
