I don't think it's a bad name, and it's better than another team named the Tigers, Lions, or anything completely conventional. I also like the inclusion of the word "iron," since it reflects the locale of the team.
I'd like to see the logo, which could be interesting.

Hi....again,
If it is unhealthy to base someone's weight on medical/technical terms, then what exactly are you basing it on? Are you a doctor, have you examined this girl? You have a couple of details to base you answer on, and at least my answer was based on some kind of factual answer.
A BMI of 22.3 is not overweight for a 16 year old, it is in fact about average, not at risk at all and not predicted to become overweight. If she was under 15, yes this may be too high, but not for 16. Check here: http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/av.htm
I actually think body fat percentage and waist measurement is a better predicter of whether someone is healthy or not, but we only have weight/height to go on in this case, and from the details given, she appears to be fine and I'm pretty certain any doctor would agree. HTH.

Well it is definately different. I knd of like it. It is a nice change and the minors are for the kids mainly and I am sure that well over 90% of them will like it. And that is where it really matters.
