Why is it that when I look at the pictures of other women who are 18 weeks pregnant, they all look huge, but I have barely even started to show. I feel the baby moving a lot and I have even seen it through my skin. The thing is I am not big at all. I am not over weight, I am very petiete infact. I have not gained much; maybe a pound. I don't know what is wrong with me, why is everyone so big and I am so tiny with no belly?
I do have a small bump in the morning and sometimes in the day.

Stop worrying!
This is my first pregnancy. I am 26 weeks pregnant and only 112 lbs + 5 foot 6. I have always been very skinny.
I have a small belly and if you didnt know me, you definately wouldnt think I was pregnant.
As long as you are having prenatal check ups and the baby is doing good - thats all that matters!
My little girl is growing healthy and strong, even though you couldnt tell by looking at me.
Im sure everything is fine.

I would not worry too much at this point. I have two kids with my wife and she is small and petite, too. She really did not start showing until she was about 7 months along. She really put on a lot of weight during months 8 and 9. I think most women do not gain alot of weight until the last tri-mester anyway. Have you been to the doctor already? If not, I would go and talk to them about your concerns. I think most women only gain about 20 pounds during a normal pregnancy. Hope this helps, and good luck with everything!!!!

I have been pregnant 3 times. In my first pregnancy, I did not show until about 20 weeks. I remember announcing my pregnancy at 17 weeks (after getting the amnio results) and people couldn't believe it. It wasn't until 3 weeks later that I started showing, but even then, most people wouldn't know. It wasn't until 26 weeks that someone finally asked when I was due.
In terms of weight gain, in my most recent pregnancy (with twins), I gained 17 pounds total. It wasn't until about 20 weeks or so that I put on any weight. I actually lost about 10 pounds the first 16 weeks or so.

No you mustn't be worried. that is totally regularly occurring. maximum indicators frequently disappear after the first trimester and then think ofyou've got some minor indicators contained in the perfect trimester yet likely you gained't have any except for a touch backache from carrying round a 5-8 pound toddler all day lengthy. you're very fortunate that each and each and every body of your indicators are lengthy gone and also you'll commence to truly have a good time with being pregnant!!!

It's because of your frame, you are petite and petite, slim women do not start showing bellies until the 6 month. I am the same amount of months and I am already showing big time. It is different for every woman, but there is nothing wrong with you, if you say you feel the baby move then there is nothing wrong. If you are concerned then you should go to your Doctor.

Its perfectly normal. small women, and first time moms, take longer to show.
your doctor would advise you if there was a cause for concern.
People couldnt tell i was pregnant until well into my 4th month.. and even then they were afraid to say something incase it was just a gut.
Everyone develops differently with each pregnancy. Nothing to be worried about.
Your weight gain could be a little better, but you're technically okay since you've only just gotten over the worst of the "not knowing iam pregnant and morning sickness" stage.

Everyone is different. There is nothing to worry about! Some people show at 4, some show at 5 and some start showing at 6. It just all depends on your body type mostly. If you're petite than it will take a little longer to start showing.

Just remember every ones body is different and works in different ways

You shouldn't be worried, especially if this is your first pregnancy. My Aunt is very petite and has two kids, and for both pregnancies she barely gained anything and didn't even really buy maternity clothes. After 5 months is usually when first time pregnant mothers, really start to show. Good luck with your baby! You'll be fine.

With my first child some people didn't even know I was pregnant, I had a small bump around 8 months but with clothing it was hard to tell. It all depends on your body Oh and I had a healthy 7lbs 5oz baby.
