This is my first year in public school, I moved from homeschooling. I am a freshman in high school, and some of my classmates act as if they are 5 year olds. it drives me nuts.

im a freshman in high school to and i just moved form a private school to a public school and people act the same way at my school the best thing to do is ignore them...

I feel u...........but I learned a lot from being in the public school arena. Some people I know that went to private schools and went on 2 college ended up either dropping out or couldn't take so much diversity that are in colleges...........It helped me out in the long run.......I guess not everybody's experience is the same.

its the differences in enviroments you have been in a more secure enviroment and of course they have been use to the public school system which means little boys are little boys until they graduate and get a real life in the real world. but on the other hand they have been exposed to more social things than you have and probably know how to handle more situations than you do . the only thing you can do is deal with it its a different world than where you came from.

freshman are really immature, they will grow out of it....they are just covering insecurities concerning being back at the bottom of the totum pole, they were the oldest in middle school, now they are the youngest and in many cases, are less developed than everyone else.

well at that age they are as mature as five year olds being home schooled is different than real school because of the atmosphere and a parson is most mature at the age of 1
