According to http://nadaguides.com it's average retail value is $935 but with only 250 miles it's still new really but not really worth more than $1200 or so...

Not a bad price. Make sure it's mechanically ok and the fluids and pads have been changed. Heck, with 250 miles they probably have original tires. Check for dry rot on the tires. If you have dry rot, you'll have to replace them too.

If all that has to be replaced, you're probably looking at another $300 or so.

take it from someone that works evenings... all it takes is some bad luck with the weather. let's say the only time they have to ride is the weekend. Then let's say it rains on the weekend twice. well there goes 50% of the opprotunity to ride. Ok, then anything else that pops up lawn work, home improvements etc, (i'm sure you can see it more clearly) it's a hell of a small bike..... but well worth the $
