Any ideas.....?

Im starting to feel desperate! I cant think of a topic for an Action/Adventure short story I have to write. Any ideas or suggestions?

It has to be realistic!

They say that there's nothing new under the sun.... And my mother said that there were only 7 original stories on the planet....

Take a main character, give them a sidekick and possible romance, give them some sort of goal that is reachable (like... doing something... anything... finding something perhaps?), and put in someone who doesn't want your hero to accomplish their goal (usually because of world domination or greed). Make the person so bad that they will "stop at nothing", i.e. hurt or kill your hero, so that the hero has to keep running away. It doesn't matter what the details are, it's the same story everywhere else.

Or what would you do if you were sitting in the car, waiting & a man got into your car with a gun?

Final suggestion ... imagine being out for a walk somewhere & hearing screams coming from a house ...

Hows about like 2 kids becoming spies and they go into all kinds of trouble and like their own agency helper turns on them at the end and then say 2 be continued!!!!!!!

have the main character have to compete in a horse race (long across land thing) and then make the steaks higher (he or she really needs the money) then have the other contestants almost kill him or her.. then they make some big risk (jumping from one side of a cliff to another) and win! there ya go...
