I am 24 weeks pregnant now and on the right side of my stomach sometimes it is an uncomfortable it is like a cramping feeling. I was wondering if that was my baby laying on that side or what is it?

Its stretching ligaments and round tendons. It can be quite painful at times, taking your breath away when you stand, and even stopping you in your tracks when you move wrong.

Especially if you're been laying on one side at night, it can make the opposite sides muscles and tendons hurt quite badly.

Its a normal part of pregnancy.

It could be something innoucous like round ligament pain or the baby moving around. But I would certainly check with your doctor. Any time you feel cramping or some pain that is not "normal" for you, I would call your OB immediately. Better to be safe than sorry.

I'm not doctor or any of that but i to had the same feelings so i called my doc i have no problem do that. i went in they hooked me up to a monitor and did a ultrasound and it turned out that all things was fine and he was just staying on that side and pulling ligaments and muscles. but if you are worried call and ask your Dr or nurse they will be more than happy to help.

If you don't want to see a doctor or have no time to see one, then you should call your doctor.
