If there isn't a disk inside the drive, then it won't open when I push the button. It'll make a clicking sound and after 3 seconds or so the light will flash green. If there's a disk inside the drive, there are never any problems. It can read it fine and it opens when it's supposed to, but when there isn't a disk inside it and it's closed the damn thing won't open. Please, what the hell should I do?

yes there should be a small hole in the front of the drive, u unbend a paperclip and use that or a thin piece of metal/plastic and this the manual release.

If you straighten out a paper clip...and your disk drive is locked...insert the paper clip into the tiny tiny hold in front of the unit. Straight in. push till the door opens. then retrieve the disk.. and press the eject button. It SHOULD work Have a great rest of the day
