The reason I tried (thankfully unsuccesful) is that I saw NO hope of bad situations changing and of me making better decisions.

The most common reason people commit suicide is that the pain they are in each and every day does not ever come to an end regardless of what they try.

Depression,health,money,loss of loved ones. Children growing up and moving away and not seeing them much. That is why I think I have tried suicide in the past. The only thing that stopped me was the thought of what it would do to my family.I still think about it. Always.

Absolute depression and thoughts of their life worth nothing to anyone.... nevertheless, there is no valid reason for this type of action, since there is always an alternative and a less costly choice. Its hard to imagine what goes through someone's mind that has contemplated the thought.

they think they failed in life. Somewhat common in ivy league colleges. Students who commit suicide becuase their standards are too f### high.

They think nobody cares. They are tired of being sick and depressed. They are overwhelmed with life's problems/family problems. Nobody understands what they feel.
