go to wal-mart or lowes or any hardware store buy a product called 7 dust sprinke all over carpet and let sit 12 to 24 hours also put around door and baseboards of your home and this will kill them. vacum up and dispose of bag.or put a small lamp with a dish of water with dish soap in it on the floor the flees will jump toward the light and land in the bowl do this every day for a week. this sounds crazy but its cheap and realy works.p.s. put the bowl of water directly under the lamp a the closer the lamp is to the floor the better it works. as far as the flee bites a hydrocortisone cream will work

You can go to Wal-Mart and buy Raid Flea Spray Plus Carpet and Room Killer. This is in a purple color can and costs a little over $6.00 depending where you live.

I have found that the Raid Flea Spray is a lot better than using the bombs.

You will need a couple of cans to have enough to spray your entire home, carpets, floors, and upholstery (furniture) This spray will not harm your carpets and furniture. Hold the can about a foot or less off of the floor and spray it in even strokes until you have every area covered.

You can also spray some of this spray right out side of your doors to your home and the porch area. I do the same.

Wait for 3 days. The spray will kill the adult fleas, but a lot of the eggs they lay may not die.

As a precaution, after 3 days, spray your home again exactly the way you did the first time.

Wait for another couple of weeks and spray again. This will guarentee that all fleas and eggs are dead.

Keep a couple of cans available and when ever you first notice a flea in your home, spray again but you should not have to repeat this especially if you spray right away when you first notice a flea in your home. You will be able to prevent them from re populating in your home.

I always keep a couple of cans in my cabinent as I never know when I will need to use it.

Hope this helps :-)

Put moth balls in the vaccum clean and vaccum under everything! Without a non-human animal host they will eventually die. After each vaccuming seal and throw away the vaccum bag in an outside garbage can. Keep vaccuming every three days to get the ones that are have hatched out of the eggs that were too deep in the carpet. Also there are flea attracting lights with sticky pads around then at the home supply store if you don't want to have to deal with a flea spray bomb.

Depending how bad you home is infested, go to the pet store and either get flea bombs, and follow directions carfully, or flea pwder and use a good vaccum. Vaccum twice a day for at least a week. that should take care of it. But they are getting in some how and multiplying, probably from yourself being in the yard. Grass is infested with them. Best of Luck with that project.

Go with the bombs, and not just once...you need to hit it a few times in a row, over the course a a week or two. Plus, do what the others have said about vaccuming and throwing the bag away outside.

buy some frontline plus and put it on the carpet where no one will see the spot like under a couch or a chair. it has no scent so it won't both anyone but, it will take care of your flea problem in your carpet.
