i have been collecting hotwheels since 1969,tell me what you need them for....collecting,racing or just a toy for kids and i can help you alot.
walmart will put them on sale right after thanks giving 68 cents usually, ebay you can find them cheaper but watch shipping costs.flee markets and die cast dealers will sometimes blow them out for 25 cents each for stuff that doesn't move well, but for a NEW toy walmart after thanksgiving is best.

The average cost of a Packaged Hot Wheel Car is around 95 cents...whether Wal MArt or Toys R Us. However, if you look on Ebay in the Diecast, Hot Wheels, Contemperary Section, you can probably get a case full for much less as many collectors sell of extras that they get in collections and do not use.

Toys r us would be my first guess! I know they made Well over 60 cars! but finding them would be a task a friend of the family has everyone ever made and he can fill a large bedroom.. they are all in boxes!
don't think he would part with them!
but check hotwheels.com and other toy websites aswell!

try going to a local toy store and see if they have in in stcok for you. but talk with the manager and tell them thats its a special order. and tell them what you are goin g to do with them. or the cheapest way is to go out to a swapmeet in your area and look around practically everyone or most people are selling hot wheels cars.

You didn't mention new or used, but try ebay and if that doesn't work, put a request in or a wanted ad at your city's Craigslist.com. Otherwise, visit target, Toys R Us, walmart, etc.
