That's excellent just as long as you get ALL A's next semester it will continue to rise. Try to aim for a 3.5. Most colleges like a 3.0 or better. Highly selective like a 3.5 close to a 4.0. The maximum is over a 4.0 because AP classes are weighed more. A friend of mine currently as a 4.5 w/ all A's and some AP classes.

Man, relax, you dont have to worry that much about it. A 3.5 is good, and the max depends on your school. Normally the max is a 4.0, but it could be higher when weighted courses are thrown in. A 3.5 is fine, ive got a 2.6 and am looking at WPI as a possible college.
Everyone will get into college, except if you drop out.

it depends on the scale used at your school. Some schools use 4.0 scale others 5.0. On at 5.0 scale it would not be that great. One a 4.0, it would be good. You should know what scales you school uses. It says on your report card.

Usually the grading is done on a 4.0 scale - an A is 4.0, a B is 3.0, and so on.
Your average is excellent. don't sweat it.

Its about average. 4.0 is the maximum if you're taking regular classes. I believe 4.5 is the maximum if you take honors and ap classes.
