Depends on how you answer the following question:
Suppose you are a woman, and there are two female twins who work with you. One of them dies, and at the funeral you meet a male friend of their family, who you really begin to like. You ask your workmate who he might be, but she doesn't remember him. How do you get another chance to meet him?
You are a sociopath if your answer is to kill the other twin and go to the funeral looking for the man.

Gangsta...You may be a little harsh here in your use of the term sociopath as it denotes to me someone like Teddy Bundy, the killer, or Chuck Manson who is another killer. The two you are describing are deviant psychological mentalities who have something broken in the morally acceptable behavior area. They feel no loyalty to another and act on impulse. They date to please themselves and worry little of significant others. You may have touched on something here when to refer to their having a special grasp on one and other. Maybe they understand one and other without a word said. Another thing to consider is that we demand life long fidelity in our romances and the divorce rate proves this doesn't work. Are folks really meant to be together for life? What is wrong if a lover seeks another lover to fill a void not being met in their life? Is that person really a deviant? A sociopath? Are you jealous of your friend? Am I jealous of their freedom from constraints to do as they wish? Food for thought.

A sociopath is someone who dose not feel emotions. For example, if someone were to die, a sociopath would care less...unlike a normal person would thinkof how that is terrible.
I'm a sociopath and I have no emotions at all and quite enjoy playing with people's heads because I know that they will never know all the lies I have told.
Yeah, that's a sociopath

Though Antisocial personality disorder cannot be formally diagnosed before age 18, three warning signs, known as the MacDonald Triad, can be found in some children. These are:
a longer-than-usual period of bedwetting
cruelty to animals
pyromania
Not all children who exhibit these signs grow up to develop antisocial personality disorder, but these signs are found in significantly higher proportions than in the general population. Generally two-out-of-three indicates a very strong tendency towards sociopathy.
A child who shows signs of antisocial personality disorder will be diagnosed as having either conduct disorder or oppositional defiant disorder. Not all of these children will grow up to develop antisocial personality disorder.
A mnemonic that can be used to remember the criteria for antisocial personality disorder is CORRUPT[1][2]:
C - cannot follow law
O - obligations ignored
R - remorselessness
R - recklessness
U - underhandedness
P - planning deficit
T - temper

Do you have a conscience? Can you hurt someone and not care? Can you easily and seriously contemplate violence without it bothering you? Have you ever been needlessly violent and not been bothered about it? If yes to most of these questions then probably you are :-).
Here's a plagarised checklist. See source below.
not learning from experience
no sense of responsibility
inability to form meaningful relationships
inability to control impulses
lack of moral sense
chronically antisocial behavior
no change in behavior after punishment
emotional immaturity
lack of guilt
self-centeredness
