I always thought Yahtzee was the stupidest game ever created because you have no control over what happens.
It's not like you can practice your rolling or anything, can you?

You can't affect the roll of the dice, but you can make good decisions based on an understanding of the odds.
That said, I haven't played Yahtzee in ages.

It's a game of chance but there is some strategy involved. More than you might think at first glance. It is possible to be 'good' at the game, but that only comes after a little practice with figuring the odds.

Actually, yes you can be good at it. There's a lot of chance involved in the dicerolling side of things, but the scoring is where the skill comes in. Calculating the odds of getting scores in particular categories and choosing where to put things when can make or break your score.

No, but you can be tactical at using your points. When I was in florida, I had two games with my uncle. He won the first and I won the second. We had to go out so we decided to have a tiebreaker when we got back. When we played it, we tied in points. It was 257. Weird huh? :s
