Well that's already a cliche and we all know that ourselves can't be always in a good mood or ourselves could be very boring. So could anyone explain me exactly what it means?

'to be yourself' is in other words, be your own person, be YOU. don't try to be something you're not or be someone else. its mainly about being unique and the concept of individuality. its not about acting a certain way, just because all your friends are doing it or following a particular trend- you have your own standards to live up to and morals you have. you're not here to please other people, but neither are you here to give them the wrong impression either. ' be yourself' or 'to be true to yourself' is significant, seeing its to do with being the way you are, thinking and behaving the way you do, saying the things that are on your mind.

It just means not to put on a front or b.s. people, so that they know what they are dealing with. It means to just be real, but I don't know of anyone under thirty that REALLY wants that anymore, lol.

don't do things or act a certain way because you think that's the way they want you to be... just do whatever you do because YOU feel like it.
