R.D.Burman (He is the God!!!)
A.R. Rahman (Inside man title song, Lord of the rings, Dil se, Bombay, Rang de Basanti....he is a genius)

Illyaraja and many more.
Also try Bhangra music (Punjabi)....it is the latest "in thing" whether Madonna, Britney or others....they all use Bhangra beats...
