OK some people have said that Peter's power isnt flight but to mimic others powers. I have a hard time believing that because that would mean when they all meet he is going to be superman. Teleport, Invincible, Flight,

I heard that they will save the cheerleader in the next two episodes. I dont get what she needs saving from she's invincible.

Why Did Nathan ask for the painting if he wasnt going to give it to peter

Eventhough i believe that there is too many storylines and not enough happens, I think Heroes is my third favorite show behind 24 and Kyle XY. But Why is it on Monday at 9 I mean it is battling the #1 Show in America Monday Night Football. And also some people watch Wrestling. I watch Heroes but I think NBC would get more viewers if they changed the day.

Good point about Hiro Stopping time and Peter Not stopping. I knew about the other ones but i never thought about that I thought Hiro could make people not stop.

Here is my take.

There is no bomb in New York.

That radioactive guy in the last show gets attacked or upset and blows up.

The cheerleader will be the only one that can absorb his radiation but her stepfather will try to have his nonspeaking friend try to read her and somehow kill her if she is not saved.

Peter can mimic the others powers. I haven't thought as far ahead as you to wonder what will happen with him when they are all together, but if you've been watching the show, it's kind of obvious that he does whatever the nearest hero does. He flew when Nathan was around. He could paint the future when Isaac was around. And he didn't stop when Hiro stopped time. How could he do that if he can't mimic the power of the rest of them?

My husband and I are guessing the cheerleader needs to be saved from Sylar. That's who the person in the painting appears to be to us. Yes, she's invincible, but I imagine if Sylar took out her brain, she wouldn't be able to recover from that. That would be silly.

I'm not sure myself why Nathan isn't giving the painting to Peter. I think Nathan might be afraid that his secret will get out if Peter gets a hold of the painting. Just a theory, though.

As for the time slot, I don't mind missing an hour of Monday night football to watch Heroes. There are too many shows for it to be up against if they switched to another night...except Friday, but that's the kiss of death for any TV show if you ask me. If they moved it to Tuesday it would be up against House, Wednesday night is Lost...well, was and will be Lost again when February gets here, and Thursday night is Grey's Anatomy or CSI depending on your preference. Sunday night it would go up against Desperate Housewives...and football. That leaves Friday night and Saturday night. There's a reason there's nothing on those nights.

Just my opinion...

The Cheerleader is not invincible, she is a healer. The cheerleader is like Wolverene (Spelling) of the X-men, except the cheerleader doesn't have metal for bones, and doesn't have claws, but she does heal. She can be killed if you cut her head off then make sure it don't reatach. I think that Skyler is the reason for that nucler explosion that the painter painted, and the only one I can see who can beat him is Peter, who could copy his power and use it against him, and if the cheerleader is near peter then peter can heal as well. another thoery i have on why the cheerleader is important, is for the radioactive guy who gives off radioactive energy, that's why his wife died, and if the cheerleader can heal then he can be around somebody and not worry about killing them.
Peter can't become superman unless there becomes someone who can see through walls, someone who can shoot fire out of there eyes, and someone who can have bullets bounce off of there chest. actually Peter reminds me of Rouge of the X-men, because he uses the others abilities for a short period of time, also we don't know yet if he can use two powers at the same time, but I hope we see in the next two episodes. Also in the next episode we find out why the cheerleader is so important. and they should change the day it's on to wendsdays, that way we would see the next episode tomorrow.

I record it but, yes another day would be better. The first few episodes were hard. Now I'm just really getting into it. I think the cheerleader needs to be saved from her family. Peter's power is still up in the air.(No pun intended) I guess in the next two episodes, more heros are coming out. Too much to figure out. Who are good and who are really bad?

I love warping people's brains on this subject.

1. Peter is a mimic and No it seems he can only channel one power at a time.

2. Claire is succeptable from having her head chopped off. that would kill her at this point in her powers. Furthermore, if you except the Aristotleon premise that you show somebody somehthing small so that they can recognize it later when it is bigger. Nikki appears to have been tampered with by Linderman making her evil when she is out to protect her son Micah. Assume the same thing can be done to Claire only she has the ability to save lives. What says that she cannot use that power to take lives as well. They may need to save her from herself, from turning evil.

3. He wanted it to prevent his brother from having to go look for it and to see what all the fuss was about. He is in a campaign and his brother is messing up his chances at winning it. He is also messing with Linderman and that might get Peter killed for asking too many questions.

4. It is there because it is supposed to take viewers away from football and wrestling. Especially Football that used to have a stangle hold on the network but now yu need cable to watch it.

And because I am evil I found a character on http://www.imdb. com that has the name Peter Sylar attached to this show. More to think about.

Every story needs its champion and if Nathan can mimic powers, he's it. Afterall he's really the only one going on about Being something more important

I think Syler can absorb people's powers by either eating thier brains or something of that nature. So who knows how many people he's drained and gotten powers from. Maybe he's on a quest to gain all these powers and become a god or something. Claire might be the key to him becoming just that.

Peter does mimic others powers. You can see this when he completes Isaac's painting.

Claire (the cheerleader) is not invincible, she just has incredible healing and regeneration powers, similar to Wolverine. We see this when she dies by getting skewered through the head.

Claire's father is not evil. Once he realizes that whatever he is doing with the silent guy will affect his daughter he will change his ways.

What I want to know is what is the mark that appears on Jessica's back and is it the same thing that is now showing up on Matt's (the telepath) neck?

Peters power is mimicking other peoples powers. They have to save the cheerleader because her father is the supposed bad guy. I don't know about the painting though. To me Heroes is a very good show.

First i do agree with the idea of peter's powers being a mimic of others.

Also the cheerleader would be very difficult to kill, but perhaps not for Sylar, since he may be removing the brains of his victims (flashback to morgue and the stick in her head) which appears to be her weakness.

As for nathan hiding the fact he got the painting back I just don't know, but he did ask for it to be sent to art gallery sooo . . ?

Actually I like it on mondays, thursdays are already too crowded (csi, smallville, supernatural) and i can understand why not fridays. i like it.

Claire isn't invincible. Cut off her head and don't let it re-attach and she can't come back to life. She can't fight. She isn't particularly strong. All these heroes have lots of weaknesses.

Heroes is a show that keeps you wanting more and that's a good thing for them to do.

It is doing fine on Mondays now, but who knows when 24 comes back.

I don't understand networking programming. They like to challenge other good shows with their own good shows. I think if they put a mediocre show next to someone else's good show, they will have a helluva time selling advertising for it.

Shoot, need to watch Prison Break, now.
