Better than going to the school, at least for me, was to visit the local library for the town I went to school in.

Are you trying to surprise someone for the holidays? What a thoughtful gift, especially if someone never had a copy or lost it.
In any event, people here have already given you some good suggestions, such as checking the school's own library or the public library in the same town the school is in.

If you are looking in a library, the yearbook may be part of a reference collection and you might not be able to check it out.
But you might be able to make photocopies or scan images from it.

I would add: Check eBay, not just once, but semi-regularly. I have found high school yearbooks on eBay. Also, if there are any used / antiquarian bookstores in the same town as the school (or in neighboring towns) I would try them, too.

If you already have an eBay account (or someone in your family does) you could post a "Want it Now" in which you describe what you are looking for. You would then check periodically to see if anyone has contacted you.

You can also get used books on Amazon.com, but I don't know if they have yearbooks. Good luck!

Yes, you go to the library of the school and you look at the year books! Not on line!
