I do. I had grand plans of preserving it for our daughter. Well, it's somewhere up in the attic wadded up in a bag. Oh well.

I still have mine.
I guess it is sentimental. Maybe my daughter will want it someday. Maybe it will not be her style.
A friend of mine's daughter was married this summer. She wore her mother's dress, from 20+ years ago.
They were told by the person doing the alterations that the dress if purchased today would cost over $5000.
It is your choice.
But since you are asking , I would keep it for a while until you are sure.

Not only do I have my wedding dress, but I am still married (30 yrs). Women are very sentimental creatures and have a hard time letting go of things that remind them of better days. If you find a way to sell used wedding dresses, let me know if they have a compatible sight for selling used husbands.

I still have mine. It was cleaned and then placed in a protective, sealed box, that way it will still look like new whenever I decide to get it out. I have 2 sons and it doesnt really look like I am going to have a girl, so now, I have no idea why I am keeping it, other than the fact that my husband did say he wants to marry me again someday.

I saved my wedding dress. Althought, it wasn't my first choice, I still kept it. My Father-in-Law bought it for me as a wedding gift and I keep it not for that reason but just simply to remember that day I married the greatest man in the world. And who knows maybe one day if I have a daughter, she too can wear it on her special day as well.

Well, Im getting married in march, and plan to keep my dress, but the really cool thing is that my Granny still has her's. It's not really something wearable, and its not in the best condition, but she is making my ring bearer pillow out of fabric from it! its a really cool way to have it included without having to wear a 1950's monstrosity!

Yes!! It's my wedding dress...that's why...lol. I am keeping mine to show my children the dress I wore on my wedding day. Kind of like a family heirloom.

A lot of people save their dresses, just as they save the memories, and a lot of woman like to pass theirs down in the family,
I was married twice and if possible I would love to have mine for my daughter to wear, but alas, each of them perished in 2 of the 3 fires we went through.

I saved mine too. Its just hanging in a closet. I don't really know why I saved it. Just a keep sake item of my wedding day. I think I would feel bad if I got rid of it. I have all my bridesmaids dresses to, don't know what I'm going to to with them ether, I have 5.

i still have mine. i had it preserved and it's stored in a box. i guess i kept it because it cost about $1000! maybe someday i'll have a daughter that will want to wear it, or maybe one day when i'm old i'll want to see if i still fit into it just for fun. plus, it's such a beautiful dress and the only one that price i'll ever own!

I kept mine. It's my wedding dress! Of course I want to keep it. Plus, I wouldn't want to sell it on E-bay. Being a consumer, I wouldn't purchase mine on Ebay cause you don't know why that person is selling it. Could it be cause they called their wedding off....or they've gotten divorced. That could be a bad omen. :) Just my opinion. Keep it. You never know whether you daughter may want it as her wedding dress when she's older!
