Ginger is supposed to be great if it works for you. Unfortunately you have to experiment with everything to find out what works for you.
Personally watermelon jolly ranchers and raspberry iced tea worked great for me. Popsicles and slush puppie drinks were also my life saver. I also had to take zophran 2x a day for 7 months including the day I delivered due to my morning sickness being so severe. I ended up losing a total of 20lb my whole pregnancy. My son is fine and his favorite things are watermelon and Popsicles.

I dont know what to tell you. I am 20 weeks with my 4th baby and I also have tried all the exact same things as you. I mean anything you can think of I tried. Nothing worked.Im sick 24/7. I was super sick with all of my boys(first 3 pregnancies) also, and nothing then ever worked either, but I was always better by 16 weeks. Now its a girl and Im stilllll sick. I even got phenergan from the doctor an that didnt work and zofran next and that didnt work. I dont think much is going to help. One thing that did help was eating a big full meal , and I would feel better for a little while. They always say dont do that, eat small meals frequently. But I had to eat big meals.

i grew to become into so in a similar boat!!! I truthfully have worry driving in the vehicle whilst i'm not pregnant... and now that i'm pregnant, even nevertheless i'm in the 2d trimester, i won't be able to experience with all people and nonetheless experience nauseous whether i force :(. attempt a million/2 a regularly occurring capability unisom with 25mg of b6 30 minutes previously a automobile-experience. If this does not help ask you dr for a prescription of phenegen, its a brilliant drug! yet you won't be able to force at a similar time as taking it, you would be tremendously sleepy, i decide to advise a million/2 of a 25mg pill 40 5 minutes previously a automobile experience, and take the subsequent dose approximately 30 minutes only before the subsequent scheduled time in case you dr authorized. which ability, if its each and every 6 hours like mine... take it each and every 5.5 hours, and you do not have a lapse the place you're ill that may create a viscous cycle! If this drugs does not artwork for you, the subsequent situation to objective is Zofran or the two drugs blended- in case you dr approves!!!! that's regrettably what i had to do this being pregnant to pass everywhere exterior my homestead, a small dose of each and every drugs blended helped me get to/by way of/from the food market.... yet i easily wasn't going out to any eating places and nonetheless at 14 weeks i'm having worry ingesting a huge variety of meals!

What helped me was I munched throughout the day instead of eating big meals. Saltines made things worse for me so I ate those little oyster crackers instead...pretzels, nuts, trail mix...just snacked throughout the day and had sips of gingerale. Also I drank a lemon and ginger hot tea that helped every now and then, with a bit of honey for taste. Congrats and best of luck!

I didn't have really bad morning sickness, never threw up. Saltines made me feel worse. So I opted for graham crackers, just plain ole graham crackers, ginger ale and baby carrots. Kept them with me all times. As soon as a little nausea would rear its ugly head I'd start nibbling. Oh, and i got up around 2a.m. and had a snack...something to tie me over so I didn't wake up with an empty tummy. Of course I gained 8 pounds that month of nausea. But it was worth not barfing. The only time I got close to barfing was in walmart waiting for my prenatal prescript...I went and grabbed & opened a box of grahams and downed a pack right there and dared any of them to say anything.

Try to never be "hungry." When I would allow my stomach to be completely empty I'd get hungry and then sick immediately, and then I wouldn't want to eat and I'd just get sicker. If I snacked on crackers or dry cereal throughout the day in between meals I wouldn't get as sick. I also sipped flat ginger ale and it helped a little. Good luck.

Hi Laura,,sorry about your discomfort.
You know about "ginger" things,,
and have had that suggested several times.
Most Ginger stuff does Not have enough concentration of actual ginger root to be really effective in "tuff cases"
Try Ginger Root Capsules,,take a couple or 3.
It's safe, natural,,cannot hurt You or baby,,
and is generally healthy anyway.
It's extraordinarily powerful in high concentrations.
Nothing I know or or have ever tried will
STOP "Sea Sickness" once it's begun.
Ginger Capsules will.
Bad case of motion-sickness is like having
food poisoning & Flu while having a hangover.
Most places that have vitamin section have them,,and they're Cheap...Walmart,Drugstores,etc
They WILL feel ODD in your tummy,,,it's hard to describe.
It's not Unpleasant at all,,just an unusual sensation.
If anything will help,,that will.
**Pretzels work cuz of the complex carbs.
"Emetrol" brand anti-emetic is popular & effective,,,it's basic active ingredient is just "Hi Carbs"
Try the Ginger Capsules,,and see what ya think.
Best Wishes,,i hope all works out well for You

Sometimes certain foods trigger morning sickness. When I was pg with my son I didn't have morning sickness but I did with my daughter. I found that grease, even just a little bit from grilled meat made my stomach churn. Watch your diet and see if something is triggering it. If there is, try to avoid it or minimize how much you eat of it. Otherwise sometimes if the morning sickness is bad enough there is a drug that your dr can prescribe that will help. Good Luck!

Don't use a prescription, they have long term side effects for the baby. I was sick until my 7th month, and had to have a shot of tigan every morning, at the hospital I worked at. Years later I discovered the side effects that I knew nothing about at the time. I would have just stayed home and threw up if I had been aware.
Ginger is supposed to help, but nothing helped me. If you do go the ginger "route", be mindful of your heartrate, ginger will increase it if you use crystallized ginger, or fresh ginger root tea.
I heard acupunture is safe and supposed to be very helpful, but I did not try it.
Even natural remedies should be ok'd by your OB/GYN before you use them.
Good luck and congrats!

Try ginger Altoids, or ginger root tea. Ginger beer can also help. It is stronger than ginger ale, but it will settle your stomach faster. To make the ginger root tea, simply get a piece of ginger root from the grocery store, and cut off a slice. Boil some water, and place the slice of ginger in a cup of boiling water. let it sit for 5 minutes, and drink. You may lightly sweeten it if you like, but the sugar may send you into fits.
The ginger Altoids worked really well for me when I was carrying my son. When I had those or ginger beer, I didn't have heart burn either.
