Why can't I retract my nails? I keep poking myself in the eye when I rub it?

Dragon would like to know that too. She wishes her fingernails were retractable so she wouldn't scratch herself.

Use a nail clipper to cut them or file them down.

Ummm...because you are human and humans have fixed nails. As for your eye...don't rub it, it is bad for you.
