do what they do or at least try to do what they do to make yourself be respected because you think that person will like it because they did it, .... trying to be the same as other people is a good thing as long as your role model has good intentions and is intelligent or very clever , it comes naturally to all who have had parents and we are always under their influence one way or another

Well signs of being under others peoples influence would be.
1) Following their speaking habbits.
2)Wearing the same brand of clothing.
3)Picking up bad habbits like smoking, drinking, and other drugs
to try and fit in.
4)The feeling of a constant fear of rejection.
5) Adapting their views on topics that you usually had no interest
in before.
6) Focusing more on material goods.

I think being under a spell is kind of a mythical superstition. If you choose to follow others or not to its up too you.

Both of your answers sound appropriate.

Being under someone else's influence is letting someone else control you. Nobody actually can do this unless you allow it.

Love, Duty, Honor etc.
When you care for someone you are easily influenced.
It starts by trying to please them and keep them happy.
Then sometimes they take advantage of that and try to
keep you doing things they want you to do.
It can be good when you're influenced by someone who is nice kind , honest and loving.
