Very true. My parents tell me that all the time. Fights arent worth it, once they are gone, all that will be regreted.

I think it's very true... all of the little things that bother you will seem like nothing once the person/thing is gone forever. Don't concentrate on the bad while you've got it... focus on the good!

it is more true then you think. for example i have this aunt that lives overseas and so i obviously dont get to see her, when she emails i usually have nothing to say, when she calls i dont feel like talking.....last december she passed away and not until then did i realize what i had. she died of colon cancer and to this day, i try to also email my family overseas so i dont feel guilty. so i hope this helped, appreciate everything you've got.

Yes, but it works both ways. If you take for granted something good, you don't realize how good it was until it's taken away.

Likewise if you tolerate something bad, you don't realize how bad it really was until (poof!) it's gone!
