It even looks and smells like breast milk diapers. My daughter drank cow's milk, so I don't know if that's right or not.
Any other parents out there who give thier babies soy?

The best thing to give your baby right now if you have decided to ween her/him from the breast is goat milk. My doc says cows milk is a big no no until 2 years because of potential allergies. She also says that soy is a little safer, but can still create an allergic reaction. Goats milk is a little more costly, but it is the closest thing to breastmilk as far as nutrients go. Go for goat girlfriend!

If you are giving a toddler soymilk, it should not be lowfat, and it should be vitamin and mineral fortified. For most toddlers, cow's milk is generally a better choice because it is more nutrient dense and naturally contains more vitamins, protein and minerals than does soy milk.

That being said, if you are choosing soy milk instead of cows' milk, and you are choosing lowfat, it could be why it goes through your daughter so fast.

I would imagine it's so for anything, my daughter could only drink whey bases formula, nothing else worked.
