Go on the pill. Then only you are responsible, there is no fumbling around for a condom (if you are with trusted partner of course!)and as long as you remember to take it every day ( I leave mine next to my toothbrush to remind me) you should be fine!

Of course everyone says abstinence but if you are asking what kind of birth control is best than obviously you want to be able to have sex. I tried the patch, the pill and the shot (depo). The patch is now considered dangerous so I don't recommend that. The pill can be good but you have to find the right one for you. Some can change your personality or cause frequent headaches. You basically have to try them for awhile and see what kind of side effects you have. I liked the depo shot best. You get it in your lower back/butt every three months. It's easy, so you don't have to remember to take anything just to schedule a doctors visit and I didn't notice a lot of side effects. Hope this helps.

I've been on the Pill (Levlen? and a couple others), Ortho Evra (the Patch), and now I'm on the ring (Nuvaring)
I LOVE the ring!! Can safely skip periods according to my doctor, can take it out for sex (up to 3 hours safely, without getting pregnant), and it's a lot lower dose of hormones, so it doesn't make me sick. It's definitely what I would recommend!
The patch was good too, but my skin is really sensitive and I reacted to it, but other than that it was a heck of a lot easier than the Pill.
So yeah, do the Ring! 99% plus some decimal pointage effective against pregnancy.

The best birth control is no sex! But, hey...that is hard to do! The best birth control depends on you. Do you think u can remember to take a pill each day or do u think it would be easier to receive a shot so u do not have a daily pill?

Try "abstinance" it works the best......no better way to do birth control than by not having sex......it's foolproof.....no loopholes. You can't accidentally get pregnant by not having sex :)
I'm on "Yasmin 28" seems to work really well for me :)
