As a Master Gardener, I do stupid things to stain my very best clothes. I don't what happened, I saw this plant at a party and just got down on my hands and knees to look at it and the next thing I knew I had stains on my lovely pants knees. Sheesh! Ok so here's my tips: First, try pretreating the stain with oxyclean in the HOTTEST water you can get with the Oxyclean in it, then pour the liquid right onto the stain and immediately throw in the wash. If that fails, do not dry it again, try a MILD solution of bleach if your fabric is rated for that, doesn't have to be a strong solution, just light. I have a front loader and will run my garden grunged clothes through with like a 1/4 cup (more than enough) and hit the extra rinse button. If I can catch the cycle, I'll throw in some of that bluing stuff my Grams used to use, but thats more for my whites. If that fails, try a bit of white vinegar on the stain and in the wash. Still failed? Try setting it out in the sun for a few minutes, on a nice bright sunny day, watch it carefully as you can end up with one side one color and the other side another. After that, I'm shot! Hope it helps!

spot clean with oxy-clean or shout, I use an old electric toothbrush to penetrate the stain. Then, let it sit for 20-30 minutes and wash in cold water. Check to see if the stain came out when the cycle is done. If not, repeat spot treating and washing until is does. I have an expensive pair of cream colored pants that I wore to a wedding and got two small brown food stains on them, after 2 cycles of the cleaning they looked perfect again!
