my page is very basic, and the ad is getting in my way! Anyone know how to hide it? or possibly move it and make it smaller?

You can still answer to get your two points. I figured there had to be something against hiding the ads, but thanks for telling me. ^_^

Allrighty, there is a code. But its an html code that instead of completely getting rid of everything there, it allows you to write somthing there so just the phrase you want to show does show. I have used it for over a year now. And I still have my account... So... :]

This goes in your about me section, im sure you can figure out where you are supposed to modify things so they show what you want to say.

you won't be able to administration this decision. That ad is there with the intention to save the area loose to clients. The president of myspace extremely saved that ad area on on order to enable the entrepreneurs recognize that their service is being marketed.

You can't, and even if you could it would be a violation of your Terms of Use.

Myspace stays in business from the money they make selling advertisements like the one at the top of your page.

you can't. if you do you violate your terms of agreement with myspace, and your profile/account will be deleted.

only those that have paid for advertising and had myspace create their page, are allowed to have no ads
