My own industry adds billions of btu's per year to the air. It isn't the worst or only one. Multiply by all earth, cannot be ignored!

CO2 is 30% higher than it has been for 650,000 years. Methane is 130% greater. These are two of the main pollutants humans put into the atmosphere in excess, and they are two of the primary greenhouse gases.

Look at the 'hockeystick', which shows a dramatic warming since 1950 after a fairly stable climate for 1000 years. In fact, the 10 hottest years in recorded history have all happened since 1990, with 2005 being the hottest, and 2006 is shaping up to maybe break that record.

How's that for proof of man's fault in this? There is ample proof, any real scientist will tell you that.

There has NEVER been an article doubting man's influence on global warming published in a peer-reviewed journal. A recent study of almost 1000 proved that.

Yes, the earth naturally heats and cools, but the rate and amount we are warming now is unprecedented in the recent geologic past. We are doing this, and we must stop it. This is not some political statement or rhetoric. This is science trying to educate a crass, ignorant public of the damage they are doing. The magnitude of temperature increase ALREADY is about 10x that of the 'little ice age' of the middle ages, and rate and amount are only going up.

Just to be clear, glacial and interglacial cycles are mainly controlled by astronomical fluctuations, but we have a detailed record of the last 7 cycles, and what the climate and CO2 is doing now is way different and extreme. The rate of increase is much higher than in the past AND the value itself is much higher.

the biggest probability to the global right now is paranoia and stupidity. Brits really have self assurance what they are informed to have self assurance. because global warming makes large headlines, the media flog it continually. Its little ask your self that Brits imagine its a large project. yet in the journey that they fairly stop to imagine about how a lot the temperature has higher over the past one hundred years, its bugger all. It looks massive because its plotted on a graph with an exaggerated scale. yet in case you plotted the replace on a classic on a daily basis temperature graph, you does not oftentimes note it in any respect. Environmental attorneys see lots of money to be made out of litigation in the journey that they could persuade adequate persons that global warming is a real probability. don't be a sucker for this scam.

Because it is extraordinarily tiny compared with the energy the sun gives out to the earth. The green house gases on the other hand, amplify the amount of heat form the sun that remains instead of being radiated into space. The waste heat is a one time thing, the green house gases are there to increase the heat of the sun, and that heat comes in continuously.

That type of heat dissipates quickly. Global warming is caused by the green house effect due to a heightened presence of CO2 in the atmosphere. It's an entirely different process. Human waste heat is miniscule compared to what the sun is pouring down on us - that is the heat that is being trapped by the CO2.

It is not ignored. Most human waste is used to produce methane gas which is burned in a heat exchanger boiler to warm the human waste in a digester at a wastewater treatment plant to around 150F in order to increase the biological action to further break down the waste before applying it to the earth for crop improvement.

I don't think it is being ignored. The major concern is that in generating this heat, you are burning fuels that increase the amount of CO2 in the air, trapping more of the Sun's energy in. I'm far from convinced that things are anything like Al Gore wants us to believe. When I want to learn science, he's far down the list of my sources.

Your own industry? Are you talking about your own poop adding millions, I mean BILLIONS, of btu's (butt temperature units) per year of heat to the air? Dang, you must poop alot.

Well why doesnt your filthy industry do something about putting all that pollution in the air?????

why don't you write an academic article and publish it so that the scientists can be informed of your information and add it to their calculations?
