Try number 3 as it is the easiest and quickest way to improve speed.

1) Increase RAM (memory).
2) Increase free disk space (remove unneeded programs from hard drive, delete temp files and folders, switch to a larger hard drive, add a second hard drive)
3) Reduce the number of programs running in your system tray/at startup. You can do this by going to Start > Run > type "msconfig" > go to the StartUp tab and deselect everything except critical programs like your anti-virus.
4) Scan for/remove spyware/adware/malware.

Check out Advanced Windows Care, it will help with most of this automatically and it's free: http://www.iobit.com/

It depends ... if you're on dial-up, a simple upgrade to broadband (cable or DSL) will change your life. If you're already on broadband, you'll want to look into upgrading your CPU. That may be as simple as adding RAM (which is pretty cheap these days) ... or as extensive as buying a whole new computer.

If you want more information, edit your post and give us details about the type of computer you're using right now and the kind of internet connection you have.

You have 3 choices
1. Upgrde ur internet connection. Change it from dial-up(i assume u have dial-up now) to ADSL or Broad Band...

2. Try increasing ur RAM, buy and add extra RAM(memory) to ur syste. Make sure ur system support the memory upgrade..

3. Buy a new high speed comp...lol
