The Official Harry Potter site(more the movies than the books) has a newsletter. I believe you can sign up for it on the site-the newsletter is called "The Daily Prophet", oddly enough:)

Enjoy!

HARRY POTTER.

You may contact J.K. Rowling using these addresses. She has not made her e-mail address public (for obvious reasons - you wouldn't want thousands of spam would you?), so you have to contact her via her publishers.

I use all these sites for Harry Potter news. My favorite is Leaky Cauldron as you can get a counter for you desktop that counts down the days, hours and minutes till the next film and also gives news updates along the bottom of it.
