It's called the linea nigra and i got it about 20 weeks with my son and about 15 or so with my twins.

I got the line about 6 months with my son. I keep waiting for it to show up now with this pregnancy but I am 37 weeks and nothing. So sometimes it shows up and sometimes not. FYI: when and if you get the line, it could take up to 6 months to go away after the baby is born. I thought mine with my son was never going to go away.

I never got it with my son but that goes along with everything else during pregnancy -- Everything is different and happens to everyone one at different times or maybe not even at all

it doesnt in all pregnancies.
